To people who deny their problems
“Being in denial never resolved any problem for anyone, anywhere. “
Muhammed Haider
Many people deny their problems under the guise of being optimistic. They accept other things but the reality of their situation. They make excuses of being positive and all, denying how bad the problems are and expecting them to go away because of their mindset.
Being positive about life and the future is good. Being hopeful that things will turn out well is also good. But that doesn’t mean we will not have problems or go through difficulties. Happiness, sadness, joy, love, laughter are all part of life.
We may experience some of them at certain seasons of our lives. Denying the reality of your situation can complicate a lot of things. You owe yourself the truth. There is nothing to be ashamed of when you find yourself in a fix.
Denying your problems is not the way to go
Denial does not solve the problem, Denial does not make the problem go away, Denial does not give us peace of mind, which is what we are really seeking when we engage in it. Denial is a liar. It compounds the problem, because it keeps us from seeing a solution, and taking action to resolve it.
Bill Kortenbach
Being realistic helps you know where you are in the pursuit of your life goals and dream. It helps you plan well and removes confusion. You know you have not arrived yet but getting there step by step. Do not live your life in denial.
Everyone has problems. Face your problems and overcome them. Solutions can only come when you acknowledge the problem and intentionally begin to take steps and do something about it. Remove all shame, discouragement, fear, and pride. Free yourself.
We would love to have your own thoughts on this in the comment section. Thanks
