Words of Comfort and Encouragement to those with low self esteem

“It’s not the lack of ability or opportunity that holds you back; it is only a lack of confidence in yourself.”

Richard Monckton Milnes

Not everyone will like you. Even if you do your best, you still can’t just impress them with anything you say or do because they don’t just like you. So, there is no need to feel sad, dumb, or inferior in front of people. We all have areas we are very good at and we also have areas in our lives where we are just clueless.

Building your self esteem

Staying away from people and feeling sorry for yourself will not do you any good. Read, learn, and grow in areas you are interested in and build your confidence. Many people think highly of themselves and tend to look down on others, that’s their problem. Stay away from such people.

You can start by learning how to ask questions and allow the other person to talk for a while. Cheap in words time to time until you are comfortable. You mustn’t do it in one or two weeks, take your time. It’s your life. Enter into a sports competition, join a club, travel and see new places and make new friends and so on. Do not allow what others say about you stop you from living your life.
