There are times you have to tough up yourself in order to break free out of certain circumstances. I am talking about the kind of situation you know will affect you negatively in the end if you continue indulging in it. It could be a toxic friendship, an abusive relationship, or even a bad business.
You feel you have put so much into it to just give up. You feel if you endure for a little longer things will get better but deep down inside you know they will not.
Everything is just confusing. The thought of being all by yourself again scares you, what people will say scares you and you have gone too deep inside to give up now.
Be Tough on Yourself
The truth is these kinds of issues are not often solved with a smile, without sweat or tears. Happy ending is possible in these tough situations but it’s often the kind of ending that the tears and sweat come first.
It’s like cutting a part of your body out with a knife without Anesthesia. It hurts like hell and man normally doesn’t like pain but you have to go through it if you are to break free.
You have to be tough on yourself. You may feel for example that you cannot survive without him or her but it’s not true. Do not think yourself into mental and emotional slavery.
It’s alright to reach out for help if you can’t do it alone. Do not continue on that path, do all you can to free yourself. You will look back on it all in the future and be proud of yourself.
