Better your character

“Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.”

Helen Keller

It’s expected that as we grow as human beings, we change. These changes are evident in the fruits our lives produce in the form of our character which is clearly seen. If we find that we don’t like our character or that we are somehow stuck, stagnant in most areas of our lives. It means we are not imputing new ideas into our lives that have the capacity to alter us for the better.

Some people are not interested in learning anything new or making up their minds to pursuing something worthwhile. But want to enjoy life. You should know that your fortunes are a direct outcome of your character.

Strengthen your character

As you better yourself and improve your personal abilities, it reflects in your everyday involvements and it better your fortunes. You are more confident, more positive, more in control of your actions. But if you sit back while the world is moving forward, you will find out that you are losing touch with the happenings. You become less confident in doing certain tasks so as not to embarrass yourself.

Pursue knowledge, improve yourself, grow, and better your strengths and character. Struggle now, sweat now, and enjoy later. Do not relax and feel sorry for your current misfortunes. Set goals to improve the areas of life you are weak in.
