Stumble and Fall Encouragement
Sometimes we fall, sometimes we stumble, but we can’t stay down.
Gail Devers
Many times, we stumble and fall. We fall so low that rising again seems impossible. We feel we are at our end and there is no more light ahead.
Nothing more to fight for, we are done. Disappointing others is one thing, but disappointing yourself feels even worse.
You hear yourself say something like “after everything I put into this; the sleepless nights, the efforts. I promised myself that I was going to do everything in my power to stand. But I failed again.
Lessons from the trees: Rise Again
The leaves of the tree wither and fall. But that is not the signal of the end but of the beginning of something great. The leaves come back greener and better. You are not finished; all hope is not lost.
The very fact that you are mourning and grieving over your mistakes shows you are still rooted to the ground and there is hope for you.
The will to succeed is still inside you though hidden very deep. What do you do? You wait! The green season is coming again and another opportunity will come to you again.
You have learned and tried many ways which ended in failure but there is still another way out there to do it right. So far that way remains, seek for it and do not give up.
I have seen trees fall but they grow roots in the middle and spring up again. Push yourself. Rise again!
